Our Story

Our Story

One parent. Three dreamers. One very large goal.

It Started With a Fox

One evening, my daughter couldn’t sleep. We’d run out of books, and she wasn’t ready for silence. So I made something up โ€” a fox who lost his tail and had to ask the forest for help. It wasn’t clever. It wasn’t polished. But she was asleep before the fox got his answer.

The next night, she asked for the fox again.

Then her brother wanted a story. Then the youngest.

I became the unofficial family storyteller โ€” night after night, inventing small creatures with large problems and small, quiet solutions.

Writing It Down

Eventually, someone suggested I write the stories down. So I started. And then I wondered: if these stories help my three children, maybe they could help someone else’s.

I built a simple website. I called it TinyTaleWorld. I published the first story. Then another.

I told no one. There was no launch. Just a quiet beginning.

The Big, Honest Dream

Here’s where I have to be transparent โ€” because transparency is the whole point.

I want TinyTaleWorld to earn $1,000,000. Not because money is the point, but because it would mean something real: that stories made with love, shared freely, can sustain a family. That building something genuine still works.

I’m doing this entirely in public. Every month, I publish a full report:

  • How many stories are live
  • How many people visited
  • How much revenue was earned (including the months where the answer is $0)
  • What I tried, what worked, what didn’t

No vanity metrics. No cherry-picked highlights. The whole, honest picture.

You can follow the journey in the Monthly Reports.

Where We Are Now

We’re at the beginning. 44 stories live. $0 earned. A goal that looks enormous from here.

But every great library started with one book. And every journey starts with one step โ€” even if that step is just a parent making up a story about a fox.

Why Free?

Because stories should be for everyone.

I grew up in a house without many books. I know what it’s like to be a child who wants to read and a family that can’t always provide it. TinyTaleWorld will always be free to read. The business model โ€” whatever it becomes โ€” will never lock a child out of a story.

Thank You

If you’re reading this, you’re part of it now. Every visitor, every shared link, every story request โ€” it all matters.

Thank you for being here.
