The Flower That Bloomed in Snow

๐ŸŒธ
๐Ÿ“– Full Story
Full Story

At the very top of the mountain, where the snow never quite went away even in summer, there was a seed.

A tiny seed.

She had been waiting underground all winter.

Warm in the dark.
Patient in the quiet.

But one morning she felt something.

The sun. Very faint. But there.

It’s time, she thought.

And she began to grow. ๐ŸŒธ

๐Ÿ”๏ธ It’s Still Cold Up Here

She pushed up through the soil.

And ran straight into ice.

Bonk.

Hard, cold, solid ice, thick as anything.

She pushed.

Nothing.

She pushed again.

Nothing.

She pushed a third time with absolutely everything she had.

Crack.

Just a tiny crack. But a crack.

Light came through.

๐ŸŒธ Warm Enough

She pushed through the crack.

And came out into the world.

It was cold.
Very cold.
Snow everywhere. Wind nipping. Ice all around.

She was a very small flower with very thin petals.

But she was warm.

Not because the mountain was warm.

Because she was.

She opened her petals โ€” pink, soft, perfect โ€” right there in the snow.

And the mountain went very quiet. Because something beautiful had arrived.

๐Ÿ’› Benjamin Finds Her

Benjamin was hiking through the snow near the top of the mountain when something caught their eye.

A patch of colour.

Pink. Right there in the white.

Benjamin bent down very carefully and looked at the small flower, blooming in the ice as if it was a perfectly normal thing to do.

“How are you not cold?” Benjamin whispered.

The flower didn’t answer, because flowers can’t talk.

But Benjamin understood anyway.

Some things are warm from the inside.

And that kind of warm doesn’t need sunshine.

It just needs courage. ๐ŸŒธ

Today's Lesson
Courage isn't something the world gives you. It's something warm that lives inside you already.
